Kid's Bible Camp took place from July 8-12 this year, and was attended by over 50 children and youth! We visited Daniel in the palace of Babylon, learned what it was like in ancient times, saw God doing wonderful things throughout the week, and made lots of new friends!

In addition to singing, dancing, and learning, we played games in the Palace Playground and got to visit the Marketplace and its many shops: the Jewelry Bazaar, the Mosaic Shop, Astronomy School, the Music Shop, the Hanging Gardens Nursery, the Cylinder Seal Shop, the Metalwork Shop, and of course the Food Court!

We took up a daily offering and raised over $150 for a Presbyterian World Service and Development (PWS&D) fund called Sowing the Seeds of Security which helps people in developing countries grow the food they need to survive. We had a daily count of how much money we raised, which we could see on our "God Sightings Wall"; this was a visual representation of all the things we see that remind us of God's good works in our lives.

You can see this project and others that the Presbyterian Church in Canada is working on here: https://presbyterian.ca/

Thank you to our many volunteers and everyone from the community who joined us in Babylon this week! See you next year!
